Who Gives A CR*P?
You may have seen that our toilet paper is wrapped and has the above slogan on it. Yes we know it may be slightly offensive but it is all for a good reason.
Who Gives A Crap is a company that gives back for each product bought from them.
They really love toilet paper because for them, it’s their (and now South Lane Dental) way of making a difference.
– 2.3 billion people across the world don’t have access to a toilet.
(That’s roughly 40% of the global population)
– 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrhea diseases caused by poor water and sanitation.
(That’s almost 800 children per day, or one child every two minutes.)
They delivered their first product in March 2013 and have been growing ever since. Not just because their toilet paper is gracing bathrooms across the country but also because they donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
We also believe that trees are for hugging
Most toilet paper is still made with virgin trees. Not only are we cutting them down, wiping our bums and flushing them down the toilet, but we’re consuming loads of energy and water along the way. At Who Gives A Crap, all of their products are made without trees, so we’re being kind to mother nature – because she’s amazing! Trees should be for hugging, not wiping!
